Day 24: Fairy Houses and Grandparents

I love fairy houses! My friend Denise and I made one at our school's workshop. Now that the fairy house walk event has come and gone, we get to house the fairy house!! So far the girls have added: a pony sleeping with a blanket of grass, lots of feathers, babies and/or marbles in the swings, and lots and lots of "nature."

The grandparents are here! huzzah! Babcia and Gramps are staying for six whole days. That means our laundry will get folded, our dishes will get washed and our children will be listened to! Addie didn't waste anytime getting Babcia involved with Pin the Flower on the Fairy after emerging early from "quiet time" completely un-tired and un-rested. Josie had a snooze... Grandparents in da house aren't enough to knock that child off her sleep schedule. Gramps built a cozy fire using the seasoned oak we got for *free* from a neighbor down the street. A great side benefit to walking home from school is meeting new neighbors and you never know what they have in their backyard that they don't need anymore!

Later, Josie hauled out the dreaded Chutes & Ladders for Toddlers. Well at least they'll be able to play it happily for the next 6 days!
